Manchester United has released it’s winger Jesse Lingard to newly promoted English side Nottingham Forest.
Lingard joins the Reds as a free agent after Manchester United failure to reach contract extension agreement with the English man
After spending about 20 years with Manchester United, Lingard rejected offers from the club, as signing any extension in Old Trafford, he may lack playing time under Erik Ten Hag. Jesse struggled to find playing time under Ole and Rangnick last term despite Manchester United poor performance in decades.
Lingard is reportedly to earn £80,000 per week and £120,000 per bonus performance with the Reds later on.
Westham United were interested to sign the English attacker but due to his wages stalled the negotiation and opened the opportunity for Nottingham Forest to opt in for the now former United man
