Big One! Ghana’s Black Sherif Makes It Into YouTube’s Foundry Class Of 2022 List Of 30 Young Talents

Award-winning Ghanaian music star, Black Sherif has been named as one of the young acts in the 2022 list of YouTube’s Foundry Class.

The Class of 2022 is Foundry’s biggest class to date, featuring 30 talents spanning genres and continents.

The Youtube Foundry was launched in 2015, and since then, it has named some young acts for the class every year.

The program is open to developing independent artists who distribute official music to YouTube between July and December 2022.

Black Sherif‘s inclusion in the list does not come as a surprise at all considering the amount of work and energy he has put into his craft in the last few months.

The release of his last single, ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ is evidence enough that Blacko is currently on a roller coaster.

It should be noted that the Foundry Class of 2022 artists represents 15 countries, from the U.S. to Denmark and Brazil to Sub-Saharan Africa. Working across genres such as country, Afropop, soul, Latin urban, and more
